This page explains, in plain language, what happens to the information you share through this website.

What we collect

When you use our contact form, we collect the details you choose to provide: your name, email address, optional organization and organization type, your message, and optionally how you heard about us. We also process your IP address to limit spam: it is anonymized in our logs (the last portion is removed), and for rate limiting we keep only a one-way hash of it, which deletes itself after about an hour. It is never stored with your message.

How we use it

Form submissions are delivered to us by email through Resend, a US-based email service, and are stored in our email inbox. We use your information only to respond to your inquiry and do not add you to mailing lists or share it with third parties.

How it is handled

We aim to align our data practices with the First Nations principles of Ownership, Control, Access, and Possession (OCAP®). This notice covers the contact form only. For client engagements, we are designing our systems for Canadian data residency and will confirm in writing where client data is processed before any engagement begins.

Spam protection

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is sending the message. Turnstile runs a short check in your browser and shares technical signals (such as your IP address and browser details) with Cloudflare, a US-based company. Cloudflare states that it uses these signals to detect and block bots and to improve that detection, not to identify, profile or target individuals. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum.

Analytics

If enabled, this site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across sites or build an advertising profile.
